Window Warehouse is Friends Fighting Cancer’s main charity partner, and you will often find members of staff taking part in events to raise money and awareness for the charity. The events range from football tournaments and golf days to non-stop exercise for 24 hours. At Window Warehouse, we are committed to making a positive impact in our local community, and supporting this amazing local charity is important to us.

About FFC

FFC support local families going through one of the most challenging times in their lives in the South of England. As a local charity, FFC can act fast and provide much-needed funds via the Grant Scheme, sometimes in less than 24 hours. FFC provide money directly to families to try and alleviate the financial burden that coping with this disease can cause. Friends Fighting Cancer is a non-profit organisation that hosts fundraising activities to benefit local families. We aim to raise a lot of money and have fun doing it. We also establish a community of participants, sponsors, and supporters who can partake in our events and promote awareness of FFC.

Case Study

This morning we received an email from the head and neck department in QA Hospital asking if we could give emergency help for a 39yr old Gentleman diagnosed in April this year with SCC tongue, he has had major head and neck surgery which has impacted his speech and now needs 6 weeks of radiotherapy but due to not being able to work and waiting on benefits to be processed there are no funds to pay for travel, food etc, treatment is hopefully curative. After reading the attached grant application form and bank statement supplied it was plain to see this was a desperate case…a larger than usual Direct Grant has been paid. And we have already had a very heartfelt thank you message.
