Haven chamfered windows get an extra chamber
The Haven chamfered UPVC window is getting an extra chamber to improve energy efficiency. From April we’re switching over to the latest version of Halo System 10 chamfered edge frame. This suites with our existing Haven fully sculptured system to offer more options.
Our supplier VEKA Halo is stopping production of the Eclipse system which we have been manufacturing so we are switching to the tried and tested Halo System 10. It’s one of the most highly specified windows in the UK and features a 4 chambered sash for improved energy efficiency.
Visually the changeover from our existing chamfered window makes little difference. The new window looks almost identical and has the same sightlines as our previous chamfered window, so matching in to the previous window won’t be a problem. Ancillaries also stay the same.
Exclusive windows with mix and match option
The new chamfered windows and doors means you can choose a window style that’s exclusive to you. Our mix and match option lets you choose between chamfered and fully sculptured profiles – or opt for an extra slimline sash. Add in a choice of ovolo or chamfered beads and you can offer customers a window that’s bespoke to you.
Slimline Sash
For a bigger glazing area you can choose the new slim line chamfered sash on windows and doors. The window sash is reduced by 5mm to 70mm wide to give a 96mm sightline, and the door sash is reduced from 110mm to just 95mm wide.
The new Haven chamfered window has an improved glazing bead system so it will be a little easier to glaze in, but Halo windows are always pretty quick to bead anyway.
The better thermal performance of the new suite means Haven installers can now offer a choice of chamfered or fully sculptured windows with no compromise on energy efficiency. It also has a central euro groove for improved security. Both frames are available with a choice of beads and a huge range of colour foil options.
The Haven chamfered window has a smooth contemporary frame design that complements our Imagine PVCu bi-fold doors. In fact because it features a low profile chamfer, it’s also a good match when fitted next to our new aluminium bi-fold doors.
