Meet the team 2020
Malcolm Cake – Managing Director.
Malcolm started Window Warehouse as a family business in 1986. The business has always served the trade, growing from fabricating 30 windows a week to now manufacturing more than 500 units a week from our dedicated manufacturing facility in Farlington, Portsmouth. Malcolm continues to focus the team on delivering personal and professional customer care and highest quality products.
Karen Cake – Receptionist
The first person you’re likely to speak to when you call Window Warehouse is Karen our receptionist who has been with the business for five years. As well as handling day-to-day administration, Karen manages the office so everything runs smoothly.
Anni Hudson – Head of Sales
Anni has been with the business for five years and works closely with our customers to add value and solve problems. She has a huge knowledge of products so she can offer advice to customers on the right products to use for the job, on time and on budget.
Remi Cake – Sales Administrator
Remi speaks to customers daily and has built strong relationships with installers over the years. Whether its new customers who want more information about our growing range of products or existing customers who need advice on the best product to use for a new project, Remi talks to them about how we can support their business.
Paul Barnden – General Manager
Paul oversees our factory and manages all production. His knowledge of the fabricating side of the business combined with his 28 years’ experience in the industry means he is constantly looking at ways to make processes in the factory even more efficient and improve our service.
Lee Simmons – Customer Services
Lee works with general manager, Paul to ensure the factory delivers the highest levels of customer service. Lee speaks with installers to book deliveries and ensure they have the products ready on site to suit their work schedules.
Paul Jeffrey – Order Processor
Paul looks after all the customer orders. We’re really flexible so customers can order in the showroom face-to-face, by phone, on email or fax. He ensures all orders are correctly input onto our system with any additional components needed, so the customer receives everything they need to do the job.
Rachel Okiy – Stock controller
Stock control is very important because customers want quick turnaround times. That’s where Rachel, our stock controller comes in. It’s her job to keep a close eye on product levels and order all our profile to ensure there is a steady flow of inbound deliveries. She’s been with us for 3 years.
Nicki Barnden – Accounts Manager
Nicki has been working in accounting for the company for 21 years and manages all of the businesses day to day accounts. She understands how important it is to customers that any queries are dealt with promptly.
Tracy Jones – Accounts Assistant
Tracy works closely with Nicki to process payments efficiently and looks after our in-house accounts and payroll too.
Amberlie Cake – Marketing Assistant
Amberlie works with the sales team to communicate with customers through email and social media. She studied graphic design and is continually developing our range of brochures and marketing support for customers.
